About 12 years ago we lost our beloved cat Benny.
Benny was a black & white fluffy that had a very unique look and personality,so we were devastated when he died.
We probably read every book on breeds of cat, that I could get my hands on. And every time I kept coming back to the Norwegian Forest Cat, their descriptions sounded just perfect, but when I started to search for one we found there wasn't any around. Then one day by chance I read the Classifieds in a newspaper of which I had never checked before and got lucky.....
"Norwegian Forest Cat Kittens for Sale".
I rang the lady, she sent me some photos of the 3 she had, my husbands first words were, when do we pick him up. He was gorgeous.
We travelled 4 hours to pick him up and he was already named Flash, which just suited him, it was love at first sight, he was a magnificent cat to look at....and he smooched us all the way home, and that was it for us, there was no other breed that could match this.
The breeder who sold us Flash stopped breeding a few years ago, and I started soon after,we are now best friends.
This is how Forest Star all started, the Norwegian Forest Cats are just so lovable and give as much love back to you in return.
I have never seen or heard of anyone being disappointed in a Norwegian Forest Cat .
Flash is displayed here, he is now 12 years old.
